I think this questions is asking the impossible…I have too many favorites to list, but I will say I find myself coming back to Pride and Prejudice every few years, and it never, ever gets old. Harry Potter is probably the only other book or series that I reread regularly.

That is the hardest question. There are too many books to choose from. I love all the books in all the series by Ilona Andrews, though some more than the others. The same is true of Anne Bishop and C.L. Wilson. Patrick Rothfuss, J.R. Ward, Christine Feeha, Mary Balogh, Lisa Kleypas, Gena Showalter, Kresley cole, Amanda Bouchet. There are still many more books by many authors that I cannot help but love. Certainly Laini Taylor as well.
But if I have to pick one book by one author then it would at least for right now, be The Sun Sword by Michelle West. It will always be one of my favourites but there are books in series that I am waiting on to be published that can surely become part of my new favorites one of which is The Sea King. It is the only book apart from Ilona Andrew’s Hidden Legacy. What made me fall in love with this book are a lot things. It is the last book in the series but it is not because it was the conclusion that I love it best. Michelle West’s writing style is beautiful and engaging but this is her only series in which almost all of her characters were so dignified and yet they not feel distant at all. Somehow, all of the characters, even those whose actions you couldn’t approve of, you couldn’t help being drawn to. Her world building is definitely amazing and so very detailed but the onformation is oresented in a way that uou absord it without conciously having to keep track of it. And her writing style is beautiful. It captivates in the way she writes about the thoughts and feelings of her characters. Their inner monologues and the reasons behind their actions. I am someone who contantly seeks romance in any novels I read but even if the whole of her six book series hold a total of 10 pages of almost imperceptible romance in only the last book, I still absolutely adore it. There are so many subtle stories interwoven into the larger plot, but unique and satisfying in themselves. And really I just love the way she writes, the ways she uses words and that is most prominent in this book.

I accidently posted the comment while editing. I’ll add the remaining part of the sentence that was cut off (which is very awkward) *Hidden legacy that I have waited for in a frenzy this year.

I would have to say Oracle’s Moon by Thea Harrison, whenever I just want to relax and have a good read with lots of laughs , some action, love, this is the book for me.

thats a really hard question but probably Godhunter by Amy Sumida. Its one of my favourites because it brings in all of the Gods named in history and makes them real in a story that twists and turns.

My favourite book? Egads, that is SO hard to choose. Going on the criteria of “Always makes me smile and feel happy when I read it, and gives me a little bit of “proud, happy, cheering” , I think I have to go with Anne McCaffrey’s Dragonsong. Menolly, like me, grew up with an acquired disability and was a misfit (Not just because of the hand she hurt). She made the decision to leave an environment that was killing her spirit and her happiness, she survived and thrived on her own, and she got her dream, her place in the Harper Hall, in the end. I know that series is considered YA, but in some ways, it’s very mature YA, especially the third book. YEARS later, I still cheer for her at the end.

Outlander-the utter immersion into Claire’s personality and her life was like nothing I had ever read before.

Dragon Flight – The majesty of the dragons and the spunk of Leesa. Plus if it wasn’t for books like Anne McCaffrey, how would I have found my love of Sci-Fi/Fantasy and these books?

My all-time favorite is the Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. The book that made me fall in love and stay there is the Hidden Legacy series by Ilona Andrews.

This will sound super cliche but the Tairen Soul books are genuinely my favourites. The world, the characters, the romance… I love it all and reread it more often than anything else I own.

I don’t really have one favorite book or series. I have so many favorites, and I keep discovering new ones all the time! As a general rule, my favorites fall into the urban fantasy and paranormal romance genres. Some of my favorites are Kresley Cole’s Immortals after Dark series, Darynda Jones’ Charley Davidson series, Patricia Briggs Mercy Thompson series, Ilona Andrews’ Kate Daniels series, and Nalini Singh’s Guild Hunters and Psy-Changling series. They all have amazing characters and character interactions as well as great stories.

i really liked the caharacter Lothaire. i think because i thought he was really smart as well as tough because he knew how to get so many of the other immortals to owe him favors.
