I adore heroes who are protective and thoughtful, yet somewhat alpha-y, yet gentle. I like ’em confident and charismatic and clever. He should be patient with the heroine but he should also understand her (i.e. not always put up with her shenanigans). All of the same can be said for heroines. =) Your heroes are pretty close to what I would think would be an ideal hero for me, especially Wynter. Dilys was wonderful though. 😀

Thank you!!!

The perfect novel hero would be someone who has a wicked sense of humor with a healthy dose of sarcasm, is sexy, self confident (or goes on a journey to get to self confidence), powerful, and needs to find redemption through love!

A take charge man’s man. He has to know what he wants even if he doesn’t really know it yet. But when he does, nothing can stop him, not even the woman he wants. He’s aggressively passionate, crowding and very hands on. Umm, yeah…

I may be the anomaly here but I like an Alpha-Hole hero. I want a more assertive hero who is in charge and knows it and seems almost harsh. But he has to be coupled with a heroin who won’t take his crap and give him what-for too! 🙂

Does what is right, loves his family and is loyal.

My idea of the perfect hero is someone who is kind, loyal, intelligent, confident, honorable, brave, protective and has a sense of humor.

a strong hero that does all he has to do because he believes it’s right

Natalia Jaramillo

  on October 19, 2017 :

I like a strong heroine as well as the hero. A good story plot ,funny, action and romance. Also HEA ending is also what I love to read the most .

MEHRY A HOUSLEY

  on October 19, 2017 :

He has to be smart, sarcastic, and funny. A cat lover, of course. Someone willing to be wrong and work at being better.

Erica Sandman

  on October 19, 2017 :

My perfect novel hero is more of an anti-hero — someone who could easily be perceived as an antagonist due to their personality quirks or rough styling. I love that hint we get of the inner softie, or the real soul hidden behind the mask.

Lucy O’Byrne

  on October 19, 2017 :

I love heroes who have amazing talents so that they can deal with each situation they find themselves in and are able to protect those who are weaker around them. I love it when a hero not only has super strong paranormal powers or fantastic magical gifts, but they are also able to physically look after themselves, even if their powers are bound or lost. But my perfect hero also has to be humble and empathetic to those around him/her. They have to always look after the underdog and those of a lower status than the hero.

Robin

  on October 19, 2017 :

He must be strong thru adversity, committed in a love relationship to his woman.

Terry LePage

  on October 19, 2017 :

One who is strong, caring, has a wonderful sense of humor, has flaws and is striving to become a better man in spite of them.

Kat Wilson

  on October 19, 2017 :

Humor. I love a witty hero (most preferably heroine but I’ve been surprised to love Harry Dresden. By Jim Butcher) I love quick and witty remarks and a snark that makes me bust out laughing while I read. Especially toward the villain! I love the use of humor in a dark time. That will ALWAYS win me over!

Courtney Tonokawa

  on October 19, 2017 :

I love heroes with a great sense of humor. My favorite heroes are the ones who aren’t too “dark” in terms of their outlook on life. They can have gone through bad things, but I’m turned off by people who are super broody without showing a lighter side once in a while, or super arrogant to the point of being selfish.

Brittany Gay

  on October 19, 2017 :

I love a hero that is an underdog or a comeback story. I think a hero should be strong, fierce and heartless on the battlefield but passionate, soft and compassionate off the field. Hero should also have humor and be relatable.

Dawn Lewis

  on October 19, 2017 :

I love a hero who has the strength of his convictions, but is also open and flexible. He has to know who he is, but understand others. And he has to have a good sense of humor.

Christina Baynes

  on October 19, 2017 :

I love when a character is sassy and sarcastic but is using it as a cover-up for their internal pain/emotions. Some examples would be Celaena Sardothien from Throne of Glass and Adrian Ivashkov from Vampire Academy.

Jade Crane

  on October 19, 2017 :

I like heroes that have a past something that they have to overcome. To have a good sense of humour and become a better person when all is said and done

Joana

My kind of hero

Please make Kylo Ren as a romantic hero.
