To celebrate the release, we’re counting down the days with fun and prizes.  Each day, from now until November 1st, drop by to join the celebration and answer the Question of the Day in this blog’s comment section to be entered to win.  (For sweepstakes rules and eligibility, click here.)

This Week’s Drawing

From now until 10am, Tuesday, October 17th, stop by the C.L. Wilson blog to answer the Question of the Day (QoD) to be entered to win one of this week’s fabulous prizes and receive a ticket in the Grand Prize drawing.  Each individual QoD you answer gets you another ticket in both the weekly and the Grand Prize prize drawings, so don’t be shy.

You can also comment multiple times a day, just to have fun and be involved, but each participant receives only one ticket in the drawing for each day’s blog post you comment on.  All responses will be tallied after comments close for the final post. The winners will be selected at random from all entries, with all winners of this week’s drawing posted on Tuesday, October 17th.

Question of the Day

Scotish imperfect brute saves a dainty girl. Maybe this is my favorite because i love to read words in that thick accent. It adds to the image in my minds eye.

One of my favorite tropes in romance is a healer for the heroine and warrior for the hero! I’m a sucker for those types of romances. Take Ashlyn Macnamara’s Destined for a King, for example. Such an amazing novel! Something about this dynamic really works for me. 😀

I love Fey fantasy romance novels! I love how different authors have different takes on the Fey world! Paranormal/fantasy romance is my favorite but I also love some Regency romance but only a few select authors. The first romance novels I ever read when I was 16 was a time travel series set in Scotland and England by Lynn Kurland and it’s still my favorite series today! I love how all of the stories are connected through different family members!

I don’t see them too often anymore, but I like romance novels that involve time travel. It’s fun to see how characters react to how different everyday life is in different points in history!

Fantasy romance. Individually each genre is great in and of itself but goodness of both combined can’t be compared with any other, for me. I do read novels with just one or the other or sub-genres of each but I can’t help but love when both come together. Making whole new worlds and giving them life is the beauty of fantasy but adding a good romance in it just makes it perfect.

I love historical romance with a mix of paranormal/magic. The add a new twist to a popular genre, and I love seeing how seamlessly the two fit together.

Supernatural romances be they vamps, elves, fae, aliens, etc.. When I read I love books that suck me in and take me to their world. I prefer things that can exist outside of reality because I live in reality the rest of the time. It’s an escape for me.

I love all types of books from romance to serial killers. My favorite romances are usually set in Scotland, but I am happy for them to be set anywhere really. Vampire novels are my top favorite at the moment but it kind of shares space with whatever appeals to me that week as well. I am usually reading about twenty books at a time. I have them lying around everywhere .. bathroom, in my car, on the bed, in the kitchen, in my bag lol you name it there is probably a book there.
