When Ellie restored Bel’s soul so effortlessly. Such pure love!

The meeting of alisetta and rain, because it was sweet and stupid the way he cover her in a cage of fire to protect her and also probably scare the living lights out of her.

I’m going to go with the scene I chose yesterday: when Storm relutantly confeses to Wyn her reasons for continuing to sneak into the Atrium.

It’s the first time we get a real sense of how vulnerable Storm is. From the scenes from Wynter’s POV we get a sense that Khamsin isn’t is as strong as she think she is, but we don’t get the sense of the depth of her loneliness until she gives it the weight of sound.

(Not to mention his perception of Khamsin’s weakness could also be written off as male arrogance.)

Up until that point we saw how much she loves her brother, and how protective both her sisters and Tildy are of her. This makes it very easy to forget what Khamsin’s childhood was like for her, and how sparingly she had the love and affection of her siblings.

It is surprising to see how distant she felt her siblings were and how little she felt that she had any true family. Wyn’s thoughts and response were gratifying, but Storm’s words resonated with me on a personal level.

Because of her childhood, Storm had to find ways to protect herself emotionally. That is both a strength and a weakness. I have a medical condition, and it is a miracle that I am able to live some semblance of a normal life. As a child it was not easy. So I learned to build my own emotional fortress. As the old adeage goes, “if you don’t laugh, you’ll cry”, and I’ve found that to be very true. I have my own moments of weakness in regards to my condition.

(I imagine Khamsin would substitute laugh with a different word.)

Regardless, for me, it told a lot about her character, and one of the reasons why she would fight tooth and nail for her new home – aside from the pending apocalypse.

In The Wise Man’s Fear by Patrick Rothfuss, I love the scene where Kvothe and Auri meet, and she gives him three gifts, a candle, a kiss, and a safe place to stay. That scene was so significant because they’re both damaged people who have suffered, and yet they still try to take care of each other.

One of my favorite scenes from a book is from the House of Nighte Series. Is the scene where the main character Zoey meets the Goddess Nyx and has to put herself back together magically and spiritually and has to decide to live as whole being but she has to do it for herself. It is one of my favorites because it paints a picture beautifully and because it shows character struggles and strengths and real fears and the shows that being the best you can is an internal struggle and desire.

I love the scene in the 5th Kate Daniels book where she’s finally sparring with Hugh d’Ambry!

One of my favorite scene in a book, we’ll say outside of C.L. Wilson’s writing… What comes to mind is the scene at the end of Empire of Storms by Sarah J Maas, when Aelin is taken by Maeve. Not only does it evoke strong feelings of hate for the enemy, but the anguish in Rowan’s and Aedion’s reactions are heartbreaking! Plus all of the secret preparations that Aelin made, all coming to light is just incredible. The fact that a book can create such strong emotion makes it stick in my mind.

One of my favorite non CL Wilson books is the last chapter in Perfect by Judith McNaught. After all the characters have gone through, it’s sweet that the hero (an actor director) doesn’t attend the Oscars and is at the hospital with his wife.

Man you ask hard questions. One of my favorite scenes from a book is in Eldest by Christopher Paolini, towards the end of the book, where Murtagh and his dragon Thorn are standing over Eragon and we find out that they are brothers. It’s such a key point in the series and I just love that series so much.

One of my favorite scenes other then books by C L Wilson was when in Angels Blood by Naila Singh a Guild Hunter Novel, the Archangel Raphael, kissed Elena as they fell to there death. He would rather die in the fall than spend eternity with out his Hunter.

When Aelin wears the scandelous nightgown to sleep and Rowan realizes he is in deep trouble in Queen of Shadows. It is a taste of wonderfull things to come for the two of them.

My favorite scene is when Rain and Ellysetta first meet because it elegantly captures the enormous cultural differences they’re going to have to overcome. Everything that follows resonates more deeply because of the success of that scene.

The scene between Feyre and Rhysand in the mountain cabin about their feelings. Rhysand is so open and honest and bears his soul and it’s so wonderful to read. I love a character that can be so brutally honest.

One of my absolute favourite scenes is from HP & Deathly Hallows. I love the climactic discussion between Harry & Voldemort as Harry finally is able to talk face-to-face to the nightmare he has feared for years. Harry truly became a man that night and uses his newfound strength to not just best Voldy, but also clear Snape’s name as a true servant of Dumbledore. The movie just didn’t do this scene justice.

In the Herald’s of Valdemar series when Dirk is in love with Talia but assume’s she’d never want to be with him because he’s not super hot but then when he tries to bow out and leave her she hits him empathically with her love for him. I cry every time I read that scene. Two broken people finding love together, it doesn’t get any better than that.

I’m currently reading Voyager, book three in the outlander series. I love when Jamie tells Claire that “it’s always been foreve for me”! I thing every woman wants to feel like she is the only one for her man! It’s so romantic that Jamie feels this way after so many years apart!!

Since I’m in the middle of rereading Harry Potter, one of the first that comes to mind is when Hagrid rows out to the island that the Dursleys have fled to and tells Harry that he’s a wizard. It’s when Harry officially knows there’s something different about him and he begins on the wonderful journey that is the rest of the series.

One of my favorite scenes is when Elysetta heals the rasa and the subsequent…uh…..actions. You know….😉… Oh and lets not forget the Pinalle and Keflee palace incident!!! I just love your writing! You are so imaginative!

I love the meeting of Rain and Ellie. Just so many emotions in that one scene makes it a joy to read and reread
