Well I love going to the lake during the fall and winter ❄️ there is just something magical about those times and the lake that make me feel happy

For me it was the Temple of Segesta on the island of Sicily. Since I was a kid I have loved anient history and finding such perfection during a trip through the landscape just took my breath away. What truly made it special was that I was all on my own (well hubby was there, too, but he knew better than to disturb me … haha). So I just sat there between the pillars, so completely overwhelmed by the beauty of the place, that I started crying. One day I will go back there !

The desert. The light, the landscape, and the heat make it magical!

San Francisco; the weather, the fog, the food, the people!

Hands down the most beautiful place I’ve ever been is Scotland. Water everywhere you turn and this air of history lurking about. It’s like the memories of the place get captured in the mist and fog in Scotland, literally right there for you to walk through.

I think when I was am able to visit my significant other in Canada. I love Quebec especially Montreal. When draped in snow the area seems so peaceful to me and everyone is so friendly, I know it’s not super exotic but I love it!

I have to say my Nanas home. As a child life was really hard. I never knew what would happen. By specifically Papas garage. It smelled like oil and metal and he always had a welding mask on. But I can’t quite ever forget how calm I felt there watching him work. I miss it. It always made me feel
Safe.

I went on a cruise to the Bahamas 2 years ago (my first cruise), the Bahamas was great but I absolutely loved just being out at sea. You could see a million stars and see for miles out. It was wonderful ☺

The library. Any library I’ve been to, they are all beautiful and memorable, especially when you see the little ones during story time or just looking at the books and realizing their magic.

Mahaulepu Beach on the southeast shore of Kauai, Hawaii! It’s more secluded than other beaches so it’s less populated, most tourists don’t know about it. It’s absolutely breathtaking! Gorgeous sandy beach with crystal clear aqua water turns into a rocky shoreline with lava tunnels and tide pools perfect for hiking!

It is so hard to choose because for me the most memorable places are from my trip to Europe and there were so many great places that I visited. Londin, Edinburg, York, Paris, Bearn, Rome, Pompeii, they are all so memorable because of the history amd the beautiful scenery.

For me it would be Seoul South Korea. It’s memorable to me because I met my future husband there where he proposed to me at night on a Han River boat cruise

The Mayan ruins at Chacchoben in Costa Maya. The site is massive but at the same time so quiet and peaceful. It was humbling to walk around and see what these people created without the “modern conveniences we take for granted.

West Virginia. Stayed in hotel by the river. Went to visit and lay flowers at my parents, grandparents and all my aunts, uncles and friends gravesites. I am the last of my family and I’m only 50 years old. It was beautiful there as the memories washed over me. Although bittersweet.

When I was a Nanny in Fairfax VA, I took a vacation to Williamsburg historical Town. It was like stepping back in time, being able to walk through the buildings and artifacts…. breathtaking.

The most beautiful place I’ve ever been would be the Keukenhof Gardens.
The entire place was full of colour and natural beauty. Rather than just trampling through nature like most everybody was there to appreciate it and had smiles on their face. It was also special because it was one of the last family trips before my parents divorce and everybody was happy, there wasnt any anger or hostility.

The campus of Notre Dame University in South Bend Indiana. So peaceful there. The grotto especially.

My family and I went camping and while exploring the area around our campsite we found a path that led to a pond. It was like something out of a fairytale with frogs and Lilly pads. So peaceful and beautiful, until my 10 year old jumped in it. Haha

One of the most beautiful, and memorable, areas I have been was on a Western Caribbean cruise, about 12 years ago. Looking out over the rail and seeing that, almost, endless expanse of amazing blue ocean at sunset was fantastic; Also, highlights included seeing some of the islands and parts of Mexico, as well as getting to hangout one afternoon with some dolphins. Altogether memorable experience!

Venice. I’d love to go back there. The statues and some of the buildings are beautiful. A lot of it is compact so you are going through alleys, not knowing what you’ll find.
