I first learned about CL Wilson through an excerpt for Lord of the Fading Lands in the back of a Christine Feehan book. I loved the excerpt for Cheryl’s book and could not stop thinking about the Lord of the Fading Lands until I got my hand on the book!

I bought the lord of the fading lands at a yard sale and after reading it I went to the store and bought the next book. First time I bought a new book at a store in 20 years. Love the fading lands!

I kinda “stole” a book for a buddy of mine in high school. I was bored, and she was reading and had extras so I snagged a random book from the pile and asked if it was cool if I read it. Low and behold, I got sucked into the Fading Lands by reading book 2 first and having no clue what was going on but I loved it so had to hunt the other books and get them for myself. I still get teased about it….

I learned about C.L. Wilson from a random trip to a bookstore in 2007. The cover art for Lord of the Fading lands pulled me in. So glad it did!

I don’t remember, anymore! All I know, for sure, is that it was before I met her at DragonCon (in 2011, I think).

I was in a bookstore looking for something new to read when I came across Lord of the Fading Lands. I took a look and read a bit of the first chapter and loved it. Been reading her books ever since.

I picked up The Winter King by chance when it was first in bookstores. I put off reading it for a while, then picked it up again…then I was hooked.

On goodreads. Suprisingly, there are a lot of books and series I read that I found on goodreads.

I got lost in a “if you like this then you should try” list lol The Fading Lands was one of the books so I decided to give it a try.

From her very first book about the Fading Lands!

In 2002 I had breast cancer and treatments, I was never a big reader until then but it became my escape. I read everything Christine Feehan wrote so when I picked up a copy of LOTFL I saw a comment by her and grabbed the book… So thankful I did. I’m cancer free for 15 yrs now but I still like to escape reality sometimes. No better author out there than you my fair lady…. Not one. Much love sent to you from PA.

I was looking for books at my local library and picked the book up by random … liked the fantasy book cover and the synopsis looked interesting. So happy I came across the Tairen Soul books!

Lol totally by accident. My husband delivers to stores and he noticed some damaged books in the dumpster (covers missing mostly). Knowing the avid reader I am, he pulled them out and brought them home. Don’t remember what the other books were, but after a few pages of King of Sword and Sky, I was totally hooked, thank goodness for my husband’s dumpster diving!
