Question of the Day

How did you first learn about C.L. Wilson?

Tammy Waggoner

  on October 11, 2017 :

I first learned about CL Wilson through an excerpt for Lord of the Fading Lands in the back of a Christine Feehan book. I loved the excerpt for Cheryl’s book and could not stop thinking about the Lord of the Fading Lands until I got my hand on the book!

Amazon’s what other people bought recommendations.

My sister recommended the books to me. Very happy she did 🙂

Anglia Tate

  on October 11, 2017 :

I bought the lord of the fading lands at a yard sale and after reading it I went to the store and bought the next book. First time I bought a new book at a store in 20 years. Love the fading lands!

Catherine Kelly

  on October 11, 2017 :

I kinda “stole” a book for a buddy of mine in high school. I was bored, and she was reading and had extras so I snagged a random book from the pile and asked if it was cool if I read it. Low and behold, I got sucked into the Fading Lands by reading book 2 first and having no clue what was going on but I loved it so had to hunt the other books and get them for myself. I still get teased about it….

Renee Luna

  on October 11, 2017 :

I learned about C.L. Wilson from a random trip to a bookstore in 2007. The cover art for Lord of the Fading lands pulled me in. So glad it did!

Janie McGaugh

  on October 11, 2017 :

I don’t remember, anymore! All I know, for sure, is that it was before I met her at DragonCon (in 2011, I think).

Shana Murray

  on October 11, 2017 :

I was in a bookstore looking for something new to read when I came across Lord of the Fading Lands. I took a look and read a bit of the first chapter and loved it. Been reading her books ever since.

Linda Olivarez

  on October 11, 2017 :

Picked up Lord of the Fading Lands in Walmart and was immediately captivated with this world and characters

Courtney Tonokawa

  on October 11, 2017 :

I picked up The Winter King by chance when it was first in bookstores. I put off reading it for a while, then picked it up again…then I was hooked.

Neha Agarwal

  on October 11, 2017 :

On goodreads. Suprisingly, there are a lot of books and series I read that I found on goodreads.

Elizabeth Guerra

  on October 11, 2017 :

I got lost in a “if you like this then you should try” list lol The Fading Lands was one of the books so I decided to give it a try.

  on October 11, 2017 :

From her very first book about the Fading Lands!

Aly P

  on October 11, 2017 :

A friend recommended her to me and when I got in the mood for fantasy romance I thought why not. I’ve loved her ever since 🙂

Joyce walton

  on October 11, 2017 :

In 2002 I had breast cancer and treatments, I was never a big reader until then but it became my escape. I read everything Christine Feehan wrote so when I picked up a copy of LOTFL I saw a comment by her and grabbed the book… So thankful I did. I’m cancer free for 15 yrs now but I still like to escape reality sometimes. No better author out there than you my fair lady…. Not one. Much love sent to you from PA.

  on October 11, 2017 :

I was looking for books at my local library and picked the book up by random … liked the fantasy book cover and the synopsis looked interesting. So happy I came across the Tairen Soul books!

  on October 11, 2017 :

Lol totally by accident. My husband delivers to stores and he noticed some damaged books in the dumpster (covers missing mostly). Knowing the avid reader I am, he pulled them out and brought them home. Don’t remember what the other books were, but after a few pages of King of Sword and Sky, I was totally hooked, thank goodness for my husband’s dumpster diving!
