The Current Drawing

From now until 10am, Tuesday, October 31st, stop by the C.L. Wilson blog to answer the Question of the Day (QoD) to be entered to win one of the current drawing’s fabulous prizes and receive a ticket in the Grand Prize drawing.  Each individual QoD you answer gets you another ticket in both the weekly and the Grand Prize prize drawings, so don’t be shy.

You can also comment multiple times a day, just to have fun and be involved, but each participant receives only one ticket in the drawing for each day’s blog post you comment on.  All responses will be tallied after comments close for the final post. The winners will be selected at random from all entries, with all winners of this week’s drawing posted on Tuesday, October 17th.

Question of the Day

Tomorrow’s the big day!  It’s always so exciting to me when I have a new book coming out.  What’s one of the things you most like to do to celebrate big occasions in your life?

Honestly? I like to relax with either music or a book depending on my mood at the time. Sometimes I even pull out my crafting supplies do I can do something with my hands.

Congrats on your big day! One of the things I most like to do to celebrate big occasions is small but important to me. I like to get a message. It’s relaxing and makes me feel special and beautiful. It’s puts me in the mood to Get Gorgeously dressed for any event that I will be spending time with family and friends or even dressing down, but pretty, for a low key celebration with hubby and children!

Depending on what time of day I am able to celebrate? I like to get a lemon poppy coffee cake and a 24 oz cup of hot cocoa… with cream. 🙂

I’m a homebody, so when there’s big events in my life I celebrate at home mostly. I like to gather my little family, with a special cake, and greeting cards. Depending on my mood, I’d invite a friend or two. I also cook my special recipes from my home country (the Philippines). Being around the people I care about to share a big moment is the most important.

Champagne!! Now that I’ve learned how to open a bottle without breaking windows or showering everyone in bubbly it’s especially fun lol!
The last time we celebrated something (a no-cancer diagnosis for my husband), I made a 5 course slow food Italian meal that took us and friends 6 hours to eat :). Was a perfect night.
