THE SEA KING Release Countdown T -11 Days

Posted

Only 11 more days until THE SEA KING!!  It’s getting close now!!

To celebrate the release, we’re counting down the days with fun and prizes.  Each day, from now until November 1st, drop by to join the celebration and answer the Question of the Day in the current day’s blog comment section to be entered to win.  (For sweepstakes rules and eligibility, click here.)

The Current Drawing

From now until 10am, Saturday, October 21st, stop by the C.L. Wilson blog to answer the Question of the Day (QoD) to be entered to win one of the current drawing’s fabulous prizes and receive a ticket in the Grand Prize drawing.  Each individual QoD you answer gets you another ticket in both the weekly and the Grand Prize prize drawings, so don’t be shy.

You can also comment multiple times a day, just to have fun and be involved, but each participant receives only one ticket in the drawing for each day’s blog post you comment on.  All responses will be tallied after comments close for the final post. The winners will be selected at random from all entries, with all winners of this week’s drawing posted on Tuesday, October 17th.

Magical powers and the have to be brave

My perfect heroine is snarky, has a great sense of humor and doesn’t back down. I also love it if she can kick ass 😀

Humor always! Intelligence and compassion. Strength.

  on October 20, 2017 :

Strong, funny, resourceful, cunning. Great connection with family/friends. Great magic/power.

Colleen Whitley

  on October 20, 2017 :

Someone that doesn’t whine or moan about circumstances or at least only for a chapter, not the whole book. Someone with a sense of humour. I like a heroine that isn’t perfect, maybe a little overweight or older doesn’t hurt too.

Dana Hess

  on October 20, 2017 :

She has to be smart, adventurous, outgoing, kind to those less fortunate than she is in the story, and have a sense of humor.

Janie McGaugh

  on October 20, 2017 :

You know, I think I like my heroes and heroines to have the same traits. They should be kind, loyal, intelligent, confident, honorable, brave, protective and have a sense of humor.

Smart, funny, and strong. Some who cares about her family and/or people enough to put them first. Ruthlessly sarcastic helps, as well

And Eld not Eli!

Gail

  on October 20, 2017 :

Darn autocorrect! Primages not primates!

Gail

  on October 20, 2017 :

I love the strong, but still believable heroine. There need to be some flaws to be able to connect with them. Also I love the witty repartee. I love a dry sense of humor. “Try looking behind the 2 primates and the sixty or so armed Eli beside them.” Love that line!!

  on October 20, 2017 :

I like heroines who are relatable and seem like real people, not your perfect mary-sues. I want to read about someone with flaws but who is also strong and independent.

Jess

  on October 20, 2017 :

Ya know, the heroine just needs to be interesting. She can be weak or strong she just has to make up for it in her interesting quality, whatever it may be. Example: she could determine truth if it was spoken to her. She Didnt knowshe had this ability at first but learns to trust herself. Thats her interesting quality. Know what i mean?

Donna Jenks

  on October 20, 2017 :

As a female, I find that the best heroines are relatable on an almost soul level. They’re stronger than they know, and intelligent without being cocky. Kind hearted, but not so much as to turn into a Damsel all the time. 😍

Peggy Marts

  on October 20, 2017 :

I love it when they find their strength throughout the story. We women are strong! I like humor within the story. Life is funny, even with all the bad thing that can happen, you must find humor.

Kim Ann H.

  on October 20, 2017 :

Strong, independent, no nonsense, kind of gal. But she will know her limits and not afraid to ask… or demand help. She is passionate, and sensitive to her man, to let him be a man and not a hen pecked wimp. But at the same time.. She doesn’t put up with his macho man crap.

I love a heroine that can kick butt, love deeply and is strong and loyal. Little bit of sass, little bit of confidence. Can take care of herself but accepts help from others.
