In “The Seduction of the Crimson Rose” by Lauren Willig, when the theater needs to be cleared in a quick, yet non-panic inducing fashion, Letty stands on her seat and announces to the entire audience that the Prince Regent is having tea on the front lawn & everyone is invited.

It was so memorable because not only was she was funny, quick-witted, and vastly intelligent; but her husband was so proud of her and her brilliance. . . and her wasn’t afraid to tell her so.

The most memorable scene in a book was when I was a teen and read Amintyville Horror. Where George is sickened by the evil and while in the living room is bitten by a stone statue Dragon. The scene is intense and emotional. As any scene that intense…whether in passion, sadness, or one that frightens, if they are written well and calls your emotions to play, you will remember it.

The epilogue to Scarlett Edwards’s Landon because that’s where you find out the big twist that changes everything you thought you knew about the story you just read.

I loved the scene in Fire by Kristin Cashore when Fire and Brogan mert in the stables by chance and they have a conversation. The conversation is open and friendly and honestly. I loved this scene because the pair were so comfortable with each other, which was clearly showing their growing trust and admiration for each other. Cashore is SO good at writing subtle and sweeping romances, and relationships full of depth. I adore that book!

Thank you!

My favorite scene is in Lady of Light and Shadows where Ellysetta reveals/discovers the Tairen inside her for the first time. The description of her transformation is so detailed and descriptive it’s so easy to see her in my mind. And Rain’s reaction to his Tairen recognizing hers is breathtaking. And the court’s reaction to seeing the transformed Ellysetta outside the temple is hilarious as well as satisfying seeing them put in their place. A testament to Cheryl’s talent as a writer!

Since a previous question made me remember the book, I will mention a favorite scene from A Wrinkle in Time, when Meg forgives her father for leaving behind her brother. That entire part of the story, where she is being cared for by “Aunt Beast” is actually one of the most memorable scenes for me!

One of my favorite scenes is from lover unbound and it’s when viscous
