Question of the Day

Which do you prefer, ebook or print?   Or do you like and read both?

Comments

Jennie

  on October 24, 2017 :

I like and read both. I can check out ebooks any time they are available at the library, but pictures are best in print.

Jennifer Kershaw

  on October 24, 2017 :

Both, to enclued audio. I have purchased all of Ms Wilson books on audio for my travel as well.

Rebekah Cowan

  on October 24, 2017 :

I prefer print books but I end up using ebook more for the convenience

Colleen Whitley

  on October 24, 2017 :

For travelling ebooks are my preference as they are a lot lighter to pack. In general though I prefer paperbacks. They don’t require charging, easily fit in my hand and can take a bit of moisture and survive a fall.

Jen

  on October 24, 2017 :

It depends on the book.

My default preference are eBooks, but if it’s a story or series I really love I will also by print. Printed books isn’t just about reading. It’s an experience. The smell and texture of the paper immerse you into the book in a way that digital never can.

Danielle

  on October 24, 2017 :

I like print it feels more personal and more real like I could just close the book and walk out my door into the world’s I read about.

Tori

  on October 24, 2017 :

Print is best for me

Lisa Ayers

  on October 24, 2017 :

I prefer print books. Ebooks always take too long to change pages and run out of power at just the wrong moment! Plus, there is just something about holding the book in my hands. I can take it anywhere and it never needs charging.

Rob

  on October 24, 2017 :

Print, definitely. But, I don’t mind ebooks as much as I thought I might.

Meg

  on October 24, 2017 :

Like and read both. 🙂

Robin

  on October 24, 2017 :

I like both but have to say I prefer my e-reader. I can use it when there is no light. Oh and I can have servaral with me and not have a pile of books.🙂

Wileen Chiu

  on October 24, 2017 :

I prefer print but do like the convenience of the ebooks. 🙂

Susan Fox

  on October 24, 2017 :

Both, my Kindle can hold so many books, but I do love the feel of a paper book, and I like getting the authors autograph, it makes it more personal. 🙂

bn100

  on October 24, 2017 :

read both; prefer print

Jon A

  on October 24, 2017 :

While I would rather have a real book, it is a lot harder for my kids to make my computer disappear than it is for them to make a book disappear.

Raba

  on October 24, 2017 :

I like both. I like holding a physical book but e-books are really convenient and easier to access.

Deanna nagle

  on October 24, 2017 :

I mostly like to read print books because I prefer a physical book. I like to read some ebooks on occasion.

Christina Baynes

  on October 24, 2017 :

I prefer print but am totally happy to read both. I’m running out of bookshelf space so I try to just buy print books if I already have for the rest of that series.

Marguerite G.

  on October 24, 2017 :

Print book all the way! Yes, I read ebooks too, but nothing compares to reading a print book!

Myranda

  on October 24, 2017 :

E-book because I don’t have any more room in my house! Also, I love how quickly I can get a book and try samples. I also like to be able to get a definition while I’m reading.
