WOW!..How did I hear about you? It was just happenstance. I saw the cover of Lord of the Fading Lands, read the back and was simply captivated. BUT I couldn’t get into it. So I put it down…then I found that it was part of a bigger series. When I find that out I was hoping that you either complete the series (YAY you did) or save enough books until I just had to read them. Luckily you finished “Crystal” and I finally started to read “Lord”. Well I got into it. I got SO into it that I completed all 5 books in 1 weekend. All I can say is that your writing style reads like a movie, with just the right amount details. I re-read Ellysetta and Rain’s story and I am still finding things I missed in my previous reads. Thank you for a beautiful story that I will keep coming back to time and time again.

I picked up The Winter King (because of the cover and the description) and fell in love with her writing… While waiting for the next book in that series – which will be releasing in just weeks now – I picked up the first book in her Tairen Soul series – and quickly inhaled the whole series.

I was at Barnes and Noble and Lord of the Fading Lands was in the wrong spot next to a Christine Feehan book I was looking for. I bought them both and read Lord of the Fading Lands in one night. I was hooked and bought Lady of Light and Shadows the next day and waited impatiently for each new addition as they came out. It was fate for me to find Rain and Ellysetta’s story 💓

At the time I was working closing shifts as a restaurant bar manager. I was always heading to Borders and picking up way more paperbacks than I should have because when you get home at 3 am most nights, there isn’t much on TV (not that I’m a tv person anyways)………..That particular day I picked up one of the middle books, started reading and realized it was 1) part of a series and 2) it was GOOD. So I stopped reading and the next day on my way into work I picked up every other book that was out in print lol!

I was a moderator for a fan site. Within that site was a section on other books. The Tauren Soul series had rave reviews. I was looking for a new series so I thought I’d give it a try. Best. Decision. Ever!

I believe I found the Fading Lands books from a recommendation on a message board. Very happy to have listened to that one!

I remember reading Lord of the Fading Lands my freshman year of college. This was the same time that I was reading Christine Feehan. I think I found C. L. Wilson because of Christine Feehan and I’m so glad I did!!

My mom bought me a copy of Lady of Light and Shadows when it was released as a gift, and after reading it, I was hooked! I am normally not a huge fan of romance novels where one couple’s story spans over multiple books, but Ellie and Rain’s tale was so detailed and well-written that I actually loved having it develop over the 5 books.

Christine Feehans Facebook page!!

After we became Facebook friends, she actually looked at my page and sent me a message commenting on my line of work and my kids.

We kept sending messages back and forth for a few months until she came to my city for a book signing.

We met afterwards, and I totally fangirled all over, I was so nervous!!

She gained a fan for life that night!!

I’m pretty sure it was from one of Christine Feehan’s newsletters and it had a link to the first chapter of Lord of the Fading Lands and I was hooked

The 3rd book in the Tairen Soul series randomly showed up on my shelf one day. I still have no clue where it came from but I’m happy it did!

I believe it was around 2008 or 2009. I was working at a grocery store and bored at lunch, saw a Fading Lands book, thought it looked interesting and decided to buy it.

In 2007, I walked into my local library and just picked the Lord of the Fading Lands book by accident. I liked the cover and told my friend I would give it a shot. Since then, I anticipated your books at my library. I kept checking them out and decided I should buy them after the fifth time ;-).

I was looking for more fantasy romance after I raced through A Promise of Fire by Amanda Bouchet. The Winter King was exactly what I was looking for!
