I watch my loved ones weep with sorrow,
deaths silent torment of no tomorrow.
I feel their hearts breaking, I sense their despair.
united in misery, the grief that they share.

A soul is formed
and pulled asunder.

Waiting for my Fey

Where are you?
     I feel you in the night,
I hear you whisper across the sky.
     When will you come to me?

I call for you when the loneliness
     becomes too much to bear.
I go to sleep, longing for you arms around me.
     I wake, bereft, my bed empty.

When will our lives begin?
     Come wake me up inside.
I wait for the one who will truly see me,
     who can read my soul.
I long for the one who will set me on fire,
     with whom there will be no barriers,
          no inhibitions.
The One who will challenge me, frighten me,
     protect me, respect me, love me;
          and set me free.

I dream,
     and there, at the edge of my mind,
          feel our children waiting.

Thousands are gone,
with us no more.

Queen of the Fading Mist

She was lost in the world of wonder where two stangers gave her love unconditionally.
She felt inside that something wasn't right and on the outside ber beauty was like an ugly kitling.
But "The Eye of the Fading Mist" new best, so it sent Rain on a quest.
Rainier Vel'En Daris Tairen Soul flew from the sky to find his worlds salvation, down in the city of Celieria.
Her name was Ellysetta, the woodcarvers daughter.
Yet Rain saw more than a simple, quiet, little kitling, as those in the city saw her.
Courage, strength, power and such compassion flowed around her, her almost lost her for fear of what she might have been.
But in the end love prevailed and King Rainier Tairen Soul wed his Queen Ellysetta
Tairen, Soulmate, to rule together to save the Fading Mist and all that lived within it.

Hidden in Sight- A life of Courtiers Past

Torn asunder, pulled apart and broken
She lives a lie, a fairy tale, nightmare of pain.
None see her, past the façade she portrays for the vultures to see,
Or they’d swoop and shatter the fragility that is she.

She cries at night, before claimed by Morpheus,
To toss and turn as the subconscious fears rear their heads.
Her screams and pleas echo in the chambers of the citadel,
Playing at the heartstrings of sovereigns past.

She plays a painted doll, something for show, an ornament
Shining brighter than a star, as diamonds trace her soft cheeks.
They love her for the masquerade, the performance of her life,
Her fake smile and hidden tears, the pain beneath the surface.

Twilight

As shadows gather like a storm, waiting, watching
For the fire in the sky to fall.
The darkness snaps and snarls at all, jumping out at those who pass,
And so bring with them the cold.

The fire spits at the shadows, fighting tooth and nail,
To stay for longer and warm the world.
Red and gold, orange and pink flash in the cooling sky,
As light fades and twilight arrives.

So time passes, young emerge to play in the shadows,
And so dawn has arrived, once more to melt darkness away.
Now the cycle begins again, light and fire warm,
Twilight arrives and heralds the darkness, the cold.

Stars emerge as twilight fades, to guide the travelers,
‘Till they fade into dawn’s warmth and hide ‘till night.
And again twilight will arrive, for a brief moment,
An equality of, a mixture of both. It’s neither day nor night, its twilight.

The Six-Pointed Crown of the fey

Beauty takes the form of a golden shield,
Its glory enshrined by an intricate six-link gate.
A pale violet, violent bellicose stone,
Tarnished once but newly shined and center-set,
Is Infused with Spirit like a precious soul.
It shines most prominently, saved from the Wilding scar.

The youngest crystal has no battle scar;
Newly formed, it glimmers and girdles like a Pella Forest shield.
The cleanest, the greenest, most cushioned soul,
Its Tairen flames roaming behind a crystal gate,
Its untarnished, unsoiled, untested fate is set.
The future will try the cut and clarity of the stone.

Feyan fire occludes the flaming crimson stone
Which can warm, boil, and burn but leave no scar.
Replacing another’s SoulQuest shard, it melds securely with the set.
Its placing firm, its presence strengthens the golden circlet shield
And it glints like red Fey’cha, forming a poisonous gate
That closes evils away from the Feyreisa’s soul.

The clarity of the cerulean gem’s glow hides the depths of its soul.
Light flows like waves through this solid stone;
Its aqueous nature belies a strength like the keel of a frigate,
And with its pure azure depths, a surface with no ripple or scar,
And a mercurial, metallic liquidity, it creates a silver shield
That protects and reflects as its shimmering sails, against Elden evil, set.

The next jewel, too, places another from the set.
Its white glowing facets sparkle clear as a new Celierian soul.
The brilliance of the crystal adds shine to the shield,
Its cut sharp and sleek like steel locked in ice locked in stone.
Like a diamond, it is hard, can draw blood, leave a scar,
But its worth is certain; it is no mere surrogate.

The sixth stone, an addition, is black as an Ebonwood gate,
The obsidian ace of the sestina’s six glittering sestets.
Irradiated by a healing love, cleansed of its Dahl’reisen scar
It completes the tiara with complex, shaded magic of the soul.
Onyx facets reveal fiery cat’s-eye lights; it is the stone
That provides the six-weave braided band, enriching the jeweled shield.

     Six scars to subjugate;
     Six marks set to steal a soul.
     Six stones to strengthen the Feyreisa’s shield,
          The Tairen’s shei’dalin.
