Only 11 more days until THE SEA KING!!  It’s getting close now!!

To celebrate the release, we’re counting down the days with fun and prizes.  Each day, from now until November 1st, drop by to join the celebration and answer the Question of the Day in the current day’s blog comment section to be entered to win.  (For sweepstakes rules and eligibility, click here.)

The Current Drawing

From now until 10am, Saturday, October 21st, stop by the C.L. Wilson blog to answer the Question of the Day (QoD) to be entered to win one of the current drawing’s fabulous prizes and receive a ticket in the Grand Prize drawing.  Each individual QoD you answer gets you another ticket in both the weekly and the Grand Prize prize drawings, so don’t be shy.

You can also comment multiple times a day, just to have fun and be involved, but each participant receives only one ticket in the drawing for each day’s blog post you comment on.  All responses will be tallied after comments close for the final post. The winners will be selected at random from all entries, with all winners of this week’s drawing posted on Tuesday, October 17th.

I always like someone who is independent and strong but always does what needs to be done to help others and to be a good person! It’s also important that there is something about her that makes her unique (some cool power or skill)!

Christina Baynes

  on October 20, 2017 :

I like female characters that are strong and sassy and badass despite all the stuff going down around them. They don’t let it get them down and they don’t wallow and whinge and complain all the time.

LeeAnn De La Cruz

  on October 20, 2017 :

Sassy strong confident afraid to be vulnerable and ordinary.

Reina escobarzelaya

  on October 20, 2017 :

A woman who is confident about who she is, can take care of herself and will stand for others.

MEgan

  on October 20, 2017 :

Someone strong, smart, and that I can relate to

Rachael constant

  on October 20, 2017 :

Brave not brace. Stupid predictive text 😡

Rachael constant

  on October 20, 2017 :

Quick humour, intelligent and brace. Will be stood side by side with the hero rather than hidden and protected

Courtney Tonokawa

  on October 20, 2017 :

Someone who is intelligent and brave. She should be able to stand up for herself, but also not be afraid of asking for help if she needs it.

Kay Mansfield

  on October 20, 2017 :

smart , great sense of humor , and it would be cool someday to have a heroine who is over weight or plain looking and the hero guy falls for her for her personality.

Robin

  on October 20, 2017 :

A woman who is strong enough to overcome adversity and knows her own mind.

Bridget Clark

  on October 20, 2017 :

Not someone who can’t or won’t try to save themselves. Also someone with a good sense of humor.

Jennifer Hubbard

  on October 20, 2017 :

True and loyal friend who happens to be a bad-ass as well.

Amanda Warner

  on October 20, 2017 :

I want her to be brave, smart and true. I like it when they have a healthy sexual appetite as well! I enjoy them being the damsel in distress to a point… And, I prefer brunettes, or red heads!! LOL!

Elizabeth Guerra

  on October 20, 2017 :

A strong woman who can take care of herself.

Robin K Bagley

  on October 20, 2017 :

I definitely prefer strong female leads, who don’t require their partner to “rescue” them. It’s one thing for the hero/heroine to be stronger together, but I don’t like characters who are defined solely by their relationship with their partner.

Julie

  on October 20, 2017 :

I like a heroine who’s spunky and smart.

Kat T.

  on October 20, 2017 :

I want the heroine to be good at something, to know what she wants, and to actively work towards achieving her goals.
She has to have some flaws too, otherwise she wouldn’t be interesting anymore.

Janet

  on October 20, 2017 :

Sassy, strong, confident, loves her friends and family.

Dawn Roberto

  on October 20, 2017 :

someone who can kick butt and then cuddle with her mate, strong yet tender and able to stand up to her alpha hero when its time.

Taryn Wilson

  on October 20, 2017 :

My idea of the perfect novel heroine is someone who may not always be sure of themselves at first, but who discovers great strengths as the story goes along. A heroine that grows, becomes confident in themselves, and learns who they truly are. Khamsin was an amazing Heroine and I absolutely fell in love her with and her story.
